Tolstoys are a Berlin-based psychedelic rock band rooted in Slavic and Celtic folklore.
-
After several years of touring across the UK, Germany, and Eastern Europe – including performances on the iconic stages of Glastonbury Festival and for over 5,000 people at Pohoda Festival – the band has reached a vantage point defined by momentum and shared magic.
Their live shows are built on deep connection: between the band members themselves and with the audience. Night after night, listeners describe feeling shaken, opened, and transported – drawn into a state of tension and freedom that recalls the spirit of the 1960s and the energy of Woodstock. For the band, this is no accident: it is the result of absolute commitment, of musicians who refuse half-heartedness and invest fully in the music and in becoming better human beings for one another.
Since winning “Debut of the Year” (2017), with Botanika (2017), Tolstoys have released three studio albums – Mirror Me (2022), No Limit To Love (2024), and The Buzz (2025), the latter focused on capturing the band’s raw live energy on record. In 2025, they toured Europe with Alibeta, a Senegalese musician, filmmaker, and intercultural artist, merging West African rhythms with Tolstoys’ psychedelic soundscape to create a powerful, cross-cultural live experience in the 360° setting.
